Carved by a local retired stonemason about 10 years ago, but only just seeing the light of day. It depicts the face of John the Baptist along with the words haleg fax and is a copy of the face as seen in the amazingly restored gates of the Piece Hall in Halifax. Very well carved and detailed. A unique piece.
