Description
Large hand carved Yorkshire gritstone trough. This is one of our troughs we have made ourselves. Occasionally we source suitable blocks of old stone and carve them out into troughs. This was a fantastic piece of punch faced gritstone that was found on a local farm and is likely to be 100 plus years old so well weathered. Once planted for all the world this looks exactly like an antique trough, basically the stone is antique, its only the carving that recent, these represent excellent value for money as can cost 30-40% less than an equivalent sized antique trough.
